I just came across a gem of a Debs article and figured I’d share it as New Years treat. Published in May 1923 in the black socialist magazine The Messenger, the May Day article, to my knowledge, hasn’t been reprinted anywhere else. So here’s the piece in full, which the magazine’s editors (A. Philip Randolph and Chandler Owen) decided to call “The Messenger and Its Mission.”
